Hand-Knotted Pakistani Caucasian Wool Area Rug

Item Details

A hand-knotted Pakistani Caucasian wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of madder red, indigo, salmon, emerald, powder blue, wheat, ivory, cranberry, and coral. The madder red colored field features and all-over harshang pattern, while framed in an indigo grounded main palmette and leaf designed border. There are also guard borders in a carnation meander, and a cruciform meander patterns. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
