Hand-Knotted Indian Wool Room Size Rug
Item Details
A hand-woven Indian wool room size rug. This rug is rendered in a variegated and abrash palette of wheat, gold, sage, mauve, sky blue, mocha, and wine. The wheat hued field fatures four large central palmettes accompanied with curled leaves, and flowering vines. Framing the field is a main herati border, along with a pair of leaf and blossom guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. The underside is labeled ‘100% Wool Pile’.
