A vintage Rennaisance style sculpture by Italian sculpter Amilcare Santini (1910-1975) after the original Rape of the Sabine Women by Flemish sculpter Giambologna, Johannes of Boulogne (1579–1583). The marble dust and resin sculpture depicts entwined nude males and a woman resting upon a wooden base. The work is marked A. Santini. At the age of eleven Amilcare Santini began sculpting and in 1958 began to produce statues in his own studio.
