A Chinese Qing Dynasty or late 19th century tian-tsui (點翠, pinyin: diancui) or kingfisher feather 900 silver hairpin earpick with a gold wash. The pin showcasing a jadeite snuff ruyi sthaped finial along with five gemstone flowers carved from jadeite, tourmaline, sapphire, and amethyst. Enclosing the flowers is a kingfisher feather inlaid border.
