Antique Storage Chest/ Strong Box

Item Details

An antique storage chest/strong box. This piece features an off-center split top with lift lid enclosing tray and storage as well as drawers. The drawers have hand-forged drop bail pulls, dividers and exposed dovetail joinery. The chest has a panel case with attachment loop, reinforced metal corner guards and base trim molding.

Condition

- noticeable chipping of paint; wear and marks (particularly at top); warping and splitting to the wood.
