Etched Crystal Decanters with Tantalus
Item Details
A collection of crystal decanters in a Tantalus. Each of crystal vessels is etched with the name of the of liquor it is to house. A metal caddy holds the collection which is accompanied by a lock, thus replicating the Tantalus created in the first quarter of the nineteenth century to as the original patent reads ‘keep servants and younger sons getting at the whisky’. The pieces have no discernible maker’s marks.
