Antique Coin Collector's Storage Chest

An antique coin collector’s storage chest. The small, portable oak chest has a recessed brass handle on the top, and two small doors on the front, embellished with beaded trim and ornate stamped brass crests, and the doors are fitted with brass locks and pulls. The interior has nine pull-out trays with small brass knobs, and the trays have fabric-lined circular recesses to hold coins. No maker’s mark.

- surface marks, scuffs, dings, chips and wear to wood; metal has tarnish, dings; missing key for lock, but chest is not locked; right side door tends to stick
