An antique oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. This piece depicts a field of thick, tall grasses and wildflowers in front of a lush tree line. It is unsigned and presented in an ornate gold tone painted wood and gesso frame that has compond molding in scrolled foliate and pearl-and-bead motifs. There is string to the verso for hanging.

- discoloration to painting; over painting to center; paint loss to right and upper right; discoloration and marks throughout frame; cracks and abrasions throughout frame; chipping to corners of frame; discoloration and remnants of paper backing to verso.
