An oil painting on panel created by an anonymous artist, early 19th century, Italian School. The piece depicts the Biblical account of Christ healing the sick, set in an interior setting with pillars, statues and arched doorways. He stands to the foreground in a red robe while laying hands on a supplicant, as a crowd gathers nearby. The work is unsigned. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden frame with moulded foliate embellishments, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- surface wear to composition, with horizontal scratch to lower right; minor edge wear to frame.
