Item Details
An antique Chauncey Jones New Haven ogee clock case. This late 19th century clock features a wooden case with a hand-colored veneer, and a reverse painted glass tablet featuring a bright aqua and black color with gilt accents, and foliate motifs. The clock may also feature an eight-day fusee movement, with a pulley system visible to the top. Black Roman numerals are displayed to the face, along with a chapter ring, two key arbors, and spade tipped hands. The interior of the clock has a partial label, while the verso offers three hooks.
