An oil painting on canvas, signed ‘Kuypers,’ after a piece titled The Acropolis in Athens by Lancelot-Théodore, Comte de Turpin de Crissé (1782-1859). This piece depicts the ruins in warm hues, a blue sky hanging overhead. The work is signed toward its lower left and is mounted in a molded black and gold tone frame with a hanging wire to its verso.

- fair; scratch to painting at center; impact cracks to paint to upper left; some abrasions and wear to finish of frame.
