A contemporary mixed media painting on canvas signed ‘Gamiled A.’. The piece depicts the interior of an opulent Orthodox cathedral, with arched doorways, tiled floors, gold tone embellishments, stained glass windows and hanging portraits of icons. The work is signed to the lower right, with the artist’s name additionally written to the canvas verso by an unknown hand. It is presented without glass in an ornate Baroque-style wooden frame with moulded foliate embellishments and gold tone finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
