Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Serabend mir-a-boteh area rug. This rug is hand-knotted in a palette of crimson, cream , sage green, midnight blue, burgundy, camel, beige, and slate blue. The field is patterned with an all over mir-a-boteh design and it is framed with compound guard borders of rhomboid shapes, boteh and geometric meanders. The main border is a serabend pattern and it is finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unmarked.
