Vintage Walker & Hall Silver Plate Beer Mug with Pewter Beer Mugs
Item Details
A vintage silver plate beer mug by Walker & Hall, of Sheffield, England (active 1852 – 1971). This pint mug features a cylindrical shaped bowl with a C-shaped handle and footed base, stamped with the maker’s mark on the undersides, along with ‘53699 AI Walker & Hall Sheffield 55’ and the royal cypher mark of King George V, the monarch during the mugs production (1910 – 1936). The mug is accompanied by a St. Michael English pewter beer mug made in Sheffield, England, and a 1/2 deciliter German pewter measuring cup marked, ‘H-M 93% Zinn’.
