Group of Pitchers Including a Salt Glazed Platter
Item Details
A group of pitchers including a salt glazed platter. The stoneware pitcher features a brown glazed neck and spout, and a white ground with a blue glazed accent to its middle. The back of the vase has an impressed mark, while the underside of the vase is marked ‘Emerson Creek Pottery Bedford, Virginia’. Included is a round salt glazed platter with a shallow rim and spatterware finish. The reverse of the platter is incised with ‘Beaumont Brothers Crooksville Ohio 1992’. Included is a pair of off white glazed pitchers, one pitcher has a crackle glaze with uneven under glaze staining to the top and shoulder of the pitcher in brown, and gold-tone lined accents to the rim, neck, middle and foot of the pitcher. A blue hand painted flower is applied to the side of this pitcher which is stamped to the bottom ‘Warranted Stone China’. The next pitcher is glazed white with blue banding to the bottom. It is embossed with ‘Dishwasher Oven Proof Microwave Safe’ to the base.
