A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Peshawar area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of coral-red, camel, tan, aqua, fawn, sage green, and grey. The field is patterned with angular floral vines and palmettes arranged in a lattice formation. It is framed with floral meander and herati motif borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unmarked.
