A circa 1870 hand-colored lithograph titled The Pride of the South by the American publishing duo Nathaniel Currier (1813-1888) and James Merritt Ives (1824-1895), known as Currier & Ives. This print depicts the portrait of a woman with lush brown curls adorned with a fastener, gold beads around her neck and wearing a red dress. It is housed under glass in a gold tone wood frame with an etched foliate design, and is ready to hang with a wire.

- toning and scattered foxing to print. Minor wear to frame finish.
