The painting depicts the small Ohioan town from which the artist comes, as it existed during the 1970s. Tall buildings and storefronts rise in front of a blue-gray sky. The painting is signed to the lower left, though it is partially covered by the piece’s matting. It is double-matted in brown and white and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with black finish and a hanging wire.
