An 1887 engraving by well-listed American artist Charles Yardley Turner (1850-1919). This engraving depicts a group of figures wakling with one woman riding atop a cow. The print is signed by hand to the lower left corner, and is signed in-plate to the lower right corner of the image. The upper left corner is marked in-plate ‘Copyright by C.Y. Turner Published by Fishel, Adler & Schwartz, New York, 1887,’ and the lower center margin features an embossment of a man working at a table. The print is housed in an ornate carved wooden frame under glass.
