An oil painting on canvas by well-listed American artist Lee (Reynolds) Burr (Califfornia, 1936 -). The painting depicts an abstracted composition made of energetic swatches of paint in shades of blue, gray, and white with pops of pale lavender, pink, and green. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented without matting or framing, but is gallery-wrapped and ready to hang. Lee Burr was quoted as saying, “Lee Reynolds was simply a trade name. It was attached to numerous artworks and designs at Vanguard Studios. Vanguard Studios was the largest distributor of decorative art in the world at the time. I guided product development. I was personally responsible for many designs, prototypes, and compositions; however, no “LEE REYNOLDS” signed paintings were actually done by my hand.’
