An antique occupational union case with an ambrotype portrait. This piece features a formal portrait of a bearded man mounted under embossed gold-tone metal in a dark hinged case lined with stamped mauve fabric. There are no apparent marks or inscriptions. The outside of the case depicts two farming scenes with beehives, farming tools, and wheat bushels.

Condition

- minor residue to brass covering; dust in crevasses of case.
