An American Brilliant Period cut glass butter dish. The antique piece features a faceted spherical handle to the dome cover and modified scalloped edges to the circular plate. The butter dish presents double Brunswick stars and panels of hobnails and fine diamonds with fan cuts and radiating stars to the plate. There is no visible maker’s mark which is typical of glasswares produced between 1870-1915.
