Item Details

An antique hobbyist hand-painted dresser jar and vase. These porcelain pieces feature a neutral tone palette of trees in a forest. The pieces were hand-painted on porcelain blanks produced by Noritake and one from Germany. Noritake produced these as blank pieces and they were painted by an unknown artist. The dresser jar is marked, ‘Noritake Nippon’ and the vase is marked, ‘Bavaria’. The markings indicate that they date from 1911.
