Item Details
A pairing of weighted sterling silver tableware pieces. This includes a compote by Fisher Silversmiths, which features a shallow well with scalloped sides and rim that rests on a tall stemmed base. It is presented with a creamer by M. Fred Hirsch Co. of Jersey City, NJ (active c.1920-1945) that has a gadroon rim, double scrolled handle, and a pedestal style base. Each is marked ‘Sterling’ and ‘Weighted’ along with a maker’s mark to the underside.
