1960s Mattel "Barbie and Friends" Fashion Dolls
Item Details
A selection of vintage Mattel Barbie and friends fashion dolls. This collection features a brunette Bubblecut Barbie with blue eyes, molded lashes, nude lips, and pierced ears (circa 1963), and her best friend Midge with short titian hair, freckled cheeks, and bendable legs (circa 1966-67). Also offered is a Twist n’ Turn Francie with light brown hair, rooted lashes, and bendable legs (1967-68) and Skipper’s brunette friend Skooter in pigtails (1965-68). Additionally, a blonde Swirl Ponytail Barbie with blue eyeliner, molded lashes, and red lips (1964-65) and a 1970s miniature Dawn doll by Topper Toys in a blue crop top and white skirt, marked ‘A11A’ on the back of the head. Each Mattel doll has an embossed trademark to the backside.
