Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Heriz area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of madder red, slate blue, white, navy, lime, black, and pale grey. The rug has a large floral medallion on a lozenge patterned with angular vines and palmettes. It is framed with carnation meander guard borders and a samovar pattern main border. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unmarked.
