After Jules Chéret Antique Color Lithograph Poster "Pippermint"

An antique color lithograph poster advertising Pippermint, after the original poster designed by Jules Chéret (French, 1836–1932). Originally published in 1899, this Art Nouveau poster features a young woman happily pouring Pippermint Get. The artist’s in plate signature and date ‘99’ is printed to the lower right. A French Republic stamp is marked to the upper right. Additional print and publishing information is printed along the lower left edge. The poster is presented under glass in a gold-tone gesso wood frame.

- wear consistent with age includes foxing and toning throughout; small spots of accretion and stains scattered throughout poster; light creases scattered throughout poster; small spots of residue scattered throughout glass; chip present to upper right edge of frame; small chips, stains, scratches, and finish loss scattered throughout frame; ripped paper backing.
