Item Details
A seventy-two piece Blue Willow ceramic tableware set. It includes two platters, nine cups, seven fruit bowls, twelve saucers, a creamer, a lidded sugar bowl, eleven luncheon plates, nineteen bread and butter plates, and twelve soup bowls. Each piece displays a scenic design of a pagoda on a hill with an old willow tree stretching out over a cliff and a river that leads to a harbor and two birds flying overhead. Some pieces are marked ‘Japan’ to the undersides; while the remaining have no visible maker’s marks noted.
Condition
- some pieces have heavy discoloration and scuffs to the undersides; gentle signs of wear throughout consistent with use.
