An assortment of antique and vintage collectibles, including a vintage amber glass and rope float; a Paull’s railroad lantern; four glass and one ceramic insulator; and an antique Battle of Verdun trench art German shell casing. The trench art vase features a ruffled rim and embossed design featuring an illustration of a castle below ‘Verdun’. The German shell casing is dated 1915 and marked ‘306 Polte Magderburg’ with other numbers. The Battle of Verdun lasted 303 days and was among the longest and bloodiest battles of World War I. It was an engagement on the Western Front in which the French repulsed German forces.
