A ceramic sculpture by an anonymous artist. This piece depicts a roughly-modeled, infantile figure with his pants around his ankles. With one hand he reaches for the fallen and garment, and with the other he reaches towards the sky. The clay piece is finished with a dark finish and has no maker’s marks. It is presented in a square wood-framed display case with glass on five sides, a removable top, and beveled base.

- sculpture has been broken and glued back together in places; fingers missing; some scuffs and chips to piece; split in corner join of display case; accretion throughout.
