A set of contemporary Louis XVI armchairs. This pair of chairs features a straight crest rail over an upholstered back panel joining padded armrests with scroll handholds. The pieces include removable seat cushions rising on tapering legs. The chairs feature carved acanthus leaf embellishment and rosette stamped blocks. There are no visible maker’s marks.
