Antique Victorian Carved Spindle-Back Side Chairs
Item Details
A matching set of four antique Victorian mahogany dining chairs. The chairs have ornately scrolled and carved crest rails, depicting flowers and leaves, with turned spindles. They have down sweeping side supports that terminate at the fronts, serpentine front rails, and cabriole legs. The seats are upholstered in machine loomed tapestry fabric with bouquets of roses, in a palette of moss green, cream and pink. No maker’s marks.
