Early 20th-Century Card Seed Co. Chromolithograph Seed Packets

A collection of four chromolithograph seed packets from Card Seed Co., Fredonia, N.Y., made in the early 20th century. Included are seed packets for cabbage, endives, spinach, and Swiss chard, all of which feature chromolithographic illustrations of the plants on the packets. They are presented under glass with green matting exhibiting four openings for each packet, and housed in a wood frame with a medium brown faux marbleized finish.
