Circa 1756-69 Chelsea Porcelain Hand-Painted Male Figurine
Item Details
A gold anchor Chelsea porcelain miniature figure. Featured is a depiction of a male figure dressed in a pink and aqua vest over a white, belted shirt with red patterned pants. A wooden jug suspended from a wooden stick is draped over his right shoulder. The piece is accented with an applied blue floral and green leaf decoration and stands on a Rococo base with scrolled gilding. It bears a painted mark, indicating production between 1756-69.
