Worcester "Scarlet Japan" Sparrow Beak Jug and Mustard Pot

A Worcester sparrow beak jug and a mustard pot. The jug is presented in the Scarlet Japan pattern displaying orange panels decorated with chrysanthemum and prunus motifs with gilded accents. It includes a fitted, domed lid adorned with a rose finial and an applied side handle. There are no discernible makers noted, however this piece likely dates between 1765-1770. It is accompanied with a Worcester ‘Clobbered’ enameled mustard pot displaying a multicolored floral design with butterfly motifs, gilded accents, and geometrical trim, and a scrolled side handle. The underside bears a clobbered mark featuring the original blue Worcester mark underneath a red stamped character mark. This piece dates to 1760-65.
