Doctor Wall Worcester Salt in the White with a "Stag Hunt" Coffee Cup

A Doctor Wall Worcester shell master salt with a Worcester Stag Hunt coffee cup. Offered is an uncommon, desirable Worcester coffee cup in the Stag Hunt pattern decorated with polychrome enamels featuring a Chinese Export style design in a gold scroll cartouche accented with a side handle. It was produced ca. 1758. The Doctor Wall Worcester master salt is an exceedingly rare piece rendered after a silver shape. The moulded base is applied with shell decoration below a coupe, paneled bowl with a slightly scrolled top handle, finished in a white glaze. This piece was likely manufactured between 1762-65.
