A Worcester Birds in Branches tea bowl and saucer with a Coalport mask jug. Featured is a Worcester tea bowl and saucer displaying a blue trasnferware design of bird motifs on branches against a white ground. It was produced ca. 1770-85. The Coalport mask jug offers a blue floral design on a white paneled ground with an embossed leaf border, a scrolled side handle, and a shaped spout after a copy of a Worcester mask spout. This piece was likely manufactured in 1800.
