Annette LeMieux is known for her “Picture Theory” sculptures and paintings. The artist uses minimalism to lure viewers into introspection to confront issues of social and historic urgency. She received her formal art education in painting from the University of Hartford in Connecticut (BFA). LeMieux’s work can be found in the permanent collections of numerous private and public collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Victoria & Albert Museum, London; and more.
