A contemporary Chinese gouache painting on paper in the style of Hu Yongkai (胡永凯 b. 1945). The piece depicts the portrait of a woman with pink, green and black hair, wearing a pink and white kimono with striped sleeves. She stands against a bridge railing next to a blue waterfront lined with colorful buildings. The work is inscribed to the lower right. It is presented under glass and layered matting in a wooden frame with gold tone finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
