Hand-Knotted Tibetan Dragon Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Tibetan dragon carpet runner. This wool rug offers a directional design with a dragon image worked in orange, cinnamon, ivory, taupe, pink chocolate and mossy-grey. At one end is a rainbow of waves and to the other end are horizontal rows of geometric forms, solid bands and dangling garlands. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with ivory warp fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
