Joan Miró Lithographic Exhibition Poster for Galerie Maeght

A 1950 lithographic exhibition poster after very well-listed Spanish Surrealist and abstract artist Joan Miró (1893 – 1983) for a show at Galerie Maeght titled Miró Art Sculptures Graphique. The poster was printed in an edition of 500 and published by Maeght, Paris in 1950. This print features a child-like rendering of a figure to the lower right, surrounded by broad strokes of vibrant color, and hand lettering in black. This piece is unsigned. It is presented behind an eggshell mat, under glass, in a black composite frame and is ready to hang with a wire.
