A Losol Ware Shanghai pattern hand painted sugar bowl with removable lid features an Asian inspired flora and fauna motif in a palette of red, blue and green tones with gold tone accents and a central stylized bird perched on a deep blue limb. The lower border features vertical bands of alternating of floral detailing and gold tone accents. The piece is marked ‘Keeling & Co. Burslem England’ to the underside.
