Power-Loomed Shaw "Fereghan" Nylon Area Rug
Item Details
A power-loomed Fereghan nylon area rug for Shaw. The rug uses a palette that includes amber, maize, steel, olive, black sand, umber, and chocolate. The black field is infilled with an intricate pattern which combines herati, arabesques, and scrolling vines. The compound border includes bands of flower and meander and geometric motifs with a palmette primary border. The selvedges have been serged and there is applied fringe at each end. The carpet is accompanied by a detached label identifying materials, country of origin, and manufacturer’s information.
