Vintage French Provincial Vanity with Bench
Item Details
A vintage French Provincial style mahogany and mixed wood vanity with mirror and bench. The vanity features a carved and scrolled mirror frame, held in turned baluster uprights with pins that allow it to swivel. The center has a dropped center with raised sides that have dovetailed drawers with brass knobs and pulls. The kneehole opening is framed with a carved, scalloped bracket, and the vanity rests on carved trumpet feet with casters. The matching bench is rectangular, resting on carved trumpet legs, and the seat is padded and upholstered in gold colored tapestry fabric. The vanity bench retains a partial label marked ‘T.C.F. Co.’ Please note, the mirror is removable for easier transport.
