Vintage Chippendale Style Bonnet-Top Secretary

Item Details

A vintage Chippendale style bonnet-top secretary. The secretary has a broken pediment and spindle at the top, above a cabinet with glass doors, above a slant front secretary desk containing vertical dividers, a small cabinet and three dovetailed drawers. There are two full-width dovetailed drawers below, and the secretary rests on carved Chippendale legs with claw and ball feet.

Condition

- to Poor; surface marks, scratches, dings, discoloration, scuffs, wear; broken section of door trim; support rails are missing hardware; finial is detached but included; damage, chips to legs; interior of upper cabinet has been painted white, and shelves are missing.
