A porcelain_Victoria_ espresso cup and saucer designed by Oscar Tusquets Blanca, dated 1991. The saucer features a red rim to the underside and the tripod cup features a minimalistic egg-shaped design.

Born in Barcelona, Oscar Tusquets Blanca is an established and reputable architect, designer, painter, and writer. He graduated from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in 1965 after which he became an active member of Studi Per along with Pep Bonet, Cristian Cirici, Lluís Clotet and Mireia Riera. This collaboration led him to become one of the founding partners of Bd Barcelona Design where he began working on furniture and objects design. Some of Blanca’s most notable achievements include collaborating with his mentor and friend Salvador Dali in designing the Figueras Theater-Museum in 1975 and having his work remain in the collections the Moma in New York and George Pompidou in Paris.
