"Point F. Fourrures" Poster After Bernard Villemot

A circa 1980s French advertising poster for ‘Point F. Fourrures’ clothier featuring graphics after listed French artist Bernard Villemot (1911 – 1989). The work depicts a seated woman in fur coat and hat with a relaxed smile to her face. The graphics are set against a white ground, with the text “point ‘f’ fourrures” and F in circle mark printed in decorative red to the bottom left, and print of “Sentein Publicite” with address and telephone printed to the lower left margin. The image is signed “Villemot” in plate to the lower right. A stamp from the Scandinavian furrier Vision Saga Furs is included to the middle left. It is presented under glass in a black and gold wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
