Seth Thomas Scroll and Pillar "Concord" Mantel Clock
Item Details
A Seth Thomas pillar and scroll mantel clock. The clock is the Concord with a solid mahogany finish case with swan pediments and urn finials. The clock features inset side panels and tapered wood columns with a two-tiered glass front door that features an image of Independence Hall on the lower door. The door also displays an ivory tone face with black Roman numerals and hands showcased by floral spandrels. Other features of the clock include a brass pendulum, two keys, an eight day time and strike mechanism that strikes on the half and the hour. The clock stands on a scalloped base with bracket feet. It is labeled “Seth Thomas/Made in U.S.A.” on the face and the underside.
