A gray Aio ceramic bowl designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, dated 2000. Featured is a low gray bowl with faded gray edging around the lip and base.

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are brothers and design partners working in a myriad of design methods including craftsmanship to industrial scale, from drawings to videos, and photography. Both brothers studied at the Higher School of Decorative Arts in Paris and the National School of Arts in Cergy and currently co-own a design studio in Paris. Bouroullec’s collaborative works are on permanent collection in select international museums such as the National Museum of Modern Art – Center Pompidou and the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Design Museum in London, and the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam.
