Power Loomed Gregorian Oriental "Jaipur" Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A power loomed wool accent rug from the collection of Arthur T. Gregorian, Inc, Oriental rugs of Massachusetts. The Jaipur rug has been woven in shades of crimson, ivory, sage, amber, steel blue, robin’s egg blue, camel, and buff. The field is infilled with an overall herati pattern of palmettes and floral motifs that are reiterated against an ivory background in the border. The small carpet has notable blue weft threads. The selvedges have been overcast and there is fringe at each end. The Arthur Gregorian tag affixed to the underside provides information about the importer.
